What is You & Me Healthy?
The You & Me Healthy TM Program was initiated in 2021 through close collaboration with community organizations, governmental/public health agency, and academic researchers in Merced County, California, Pitt County, North Carolina, and Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. This Program includes a collection of community-engaged research projects, public resources, and a Registry in support of health access for underserved populations. All You & Me Healthy TM projects address health challenges that are priorities for the communities they serve.
You & Me Healthy is coordinated by the Duke Clinical Research Institute. This virtual community of participants, local community groups, and clinicians are working together to select research topics that are important to the community and develop and conduct research studies that flexibly respond to changing public health needs across the United States.
Check out our Roadmap for Community Engagement, a resource developed through lessons learned from earlier studies. We hope for this resource to be accessible and useful to a wide range of community members, public health practitioners, researchers, and community health advocates.
The You & Me Healthy™
Registry is:
- A community of people from across the United States who are engaged in addressing health concerns, including those related to COVID-19.
- A starting point to participate in You & Me Healthy™ research studies.
- A great way to find out what we’re learning about health and well-being across the country.
