You & Me Healthy Registry
You & Me Healthy (YMH) is a research registry coordinated by the Duke Clinical Research Institute to bring participants, community members, and clinicians together to improve public health across the United States.
The YMH Registry creates a virtual community to develop and conduct research studies, including those related to COVID-19. This platform is designed to flexibly respond to changing public health needs.
Those who sign up for the YMH Registry will receive messages via the website, text, and email about research studies and about how to participate in them. Messages will include updates on important health issues, chronic diseases, and guidance from local and national agencies.
Researchers who connect with the YMH Registry can use it as a way to find potential participants for their studies. We will ask each person who joins the Registry to provide demographic information, contact information, and consent to be contacted about future studies. All studies shared through the Registry are voluntary to join.
An Advisory Board of Community Partners and Lead Investigators will guide the work of the YMH Registry. The Advisory Board will work together to build research studies that matter to communities and find ways to engage community members.
Registry participants will receive timely newsletters that include:
- Up-to-date and accurate health-related information
- Guidance from local and national agencies about how to stay healthy
- Resources and information related to COVID-19
- Information about joining related studies
